I really enjoy working with high school kids, whether it be general fitness, weight loss or sports specific training. Having lost 80 lbs and played multiple sports myself, I feel I can relate to a lot of different kid’s goals. I like to place a heavy emphasis on flexibility and form, assuring peak performance while avoiding injury. With the growth spurts and all the sitting kids do throughout the school day, I find it crucial to bring muscles back to their proper length and tension through foam rolling and stretching.
I am originally from Nebraska, I recently moved to Colorado at the beginning of 2016. I completed Heritage College’s fitness training program and am now a NASM Certified personal trainer. My Fitness journey began my sophomore year of high school, where I found myself overweight and quite unhappy. I hit the gym, lost 80 lbs and never looked back. It is now my goal as a personal trainer to help others where I struggled and to safely and efficiently get them the results they want.
When I am in the gym, my interests range anywhere from yoga to powerlifting. I am a huge fan of foam rolling, corrective exercise and flexibility training. When I’m not in the gym, you can usually find me doing something active. I love to go hiking and running, I can usually get into anything that’s outdoors. When I am indoors, I like to read or nerd out on Netflix documentaries
